Paper Due Dates

  • Thursday, Friday 1/12, 1/13 - Topic description – In paragraph form in Spanish
  • 1st Rough Draft due Monday 3/6*
  • 2nd Rough Draft due Thursday, Friday 3/23, 3/24
  • Final Draft Due Thursday, Friday 4/6, 4/7*

 

Writing in class:

  • Monday 1/9 brainstorm and prepare topic description
  • Thursday, Friday 1/26, 1/27
  • Thursday, Friday 2/16, 2/17

Power Point

  • Wednesday, Thursday 3/15, 3/16– Brainstorm and begin research for power point
  • Thursday, Friday 3/30, 3/31– Work on power point presentation in class, share with me
  • Monday 4/24 Power point completed
  • During May - Present power point to class

Creative Presentation

  • Thursday, Friday 4/6, 4/7 – Finalize creative presentation content
  • Wednesday, Thursday 4/26, 4/27 – Work on creative presentation in class
  • During May- Present creative portion to class

 

*1st and Final Draft of paper mandatory.  2nd rough draft will be required if the 1st draft is not sufficient. 

NoodleTool Source and Notecard Assignment

Spanish 4 Research Project NoodleTool Notecard Assignment

 

You must complete two source cards and notecards in NoodleTools and share your project with Ms. Guilfoy.

 

7 Steps:

1. Go to NoodleTools and create a new project for your research.

  • Select MLA Advanced
  • Share your project with Ms. Guilfoy

You’ll find detailed instructions for NoodleTools on the Spanish 4 Research Project LibGuide. (LibGuide is located in three places: Your class Schoology, the Library Schoology  Resources and on the Library webpage.

 

2.  Use Informe database (password: dragons) to find a source in Spanish.

 

3. Enter Source into NoodleTools. Gale databases like Informe now allow you to import a citation directly to your Noodletools project!

 

4. Complete one notecard for your Spanish language source.

            A completed notecard includes: Direct Quotation, Paraphrase, My Ideas and Tags.

5. Use the Open Web, a print source or articles from the recommended databases to find a high quality and relevant source for your research project.

 6. Enter this second source into NoodleTools

7. Complete a notecard for your source from print, Open Web OR database.

A completed notecard includes: Direct Quotation, Paraphrase, My Ideas and tags.

 

 

Due: Two source cards and two completed notecards.

 

You do not need to print out anything. Ms. Guilfoy can see your work on NoodleTools.
